With a mixture of a high density Central American, softer South American and then a sprinkle of an vibrant African with different processing methods, roasted to a medium well roast profile, it gives the choice to give yourself a Mike Tyson punch in the cup or a finessed vibe. Either way, it's our Shaquille O'Neal, our Oak Tree, our staple. 

Double Tap Coffee's Espresso Blend

This is a blend that represents what good coffee is about. It's genuine, flavoursome, and pleasant with notes of milk chocolate, caramel, stone fruit. Coffee at Double Tap is something special. It is humble, authentic and pleasant. You will find Double Tap’s owner/roaster exactly that. Despite being a bit of an icon in the Sydney coffee scene, Daniel Karaconji is one of the most humble and lovely persons you will ever meet. Before opening up Double Tap in 2018, Daniel was the roaster for Coffee Alchemy for 9 years and in many’s opinion helped Coffee Alchemy become what it is.

This is our staple coffee for pairing with milk. It is a coffee that was produced by a small group of female coffee producers, they have formed a cooperative in order to better market their coffee and create more financial autonomy. Their main form of income is their coffee and we plan to purchase each harvest for our cafe, Brighter in Stanmore, Sydney. Being a single lot from quite a small area we see unbelievable consistency and it is a joy to work with on the espresso machine because of this. We created a roast profile that tries to balance the beautiful acidities to be sweet and harmonious with milk, with mild fruity characteristics.

The New Paradigm Coffee

This is our new "house blend" sourced from the famed Osito coffee exporters in Colombia. Traditionally house blends are the cheapest coffees a roaster will buy so with it there is the most risk of exploitation occurring in producing countries. In our view this makes sourcing your house blend more important than any microlot or exotic. We are proud to be one of the first roasters in Australia buying this coffee from such a reputable source.

Freshest Coffee
This espresso bundle is generally roasted by respective roasters as close to the dispatch date as possible. Blend components and seasonal singles may change without prior notice due to seasonality and availability. We believe in drinking fresh and aromatic coffee, and this is why this coffee is shipped as whole bean only.
