Background:
Grace is one of the producers on the family farm, Finca Cruz Loma, alongside her brother. The Morales family farm only grows a small amount of coffee. Their focus has been on small, meticulously processed lots, which results in very refined and complex cup profiles. The farm is nestled in some deep jungle, along a mountain range, giving incredible biodiversity. Ecuador is becoming more and more known for its crisp, clean coffees and incredible coffee quality potential. The fascinating thing is there is a lot of the Typica variety planted there, unlike neighbouring coffee-producing countries growing mainly Caturra. This is now our second coffee from Ecuador, in the future we want to keep offering these special micro-lots with amazing flavour profiles.
